Williams & Sewell HR Consulting was established in 1999 after two
long-time staffing competitors decided to join forces. As independent
contract recruiters, Bob Williams and Bill Sewell had often battled
for the same engineers and managers being sought by their respective
client companies. From this friendly rivalry, mutual respect grew and
then friendship.
Both Bob and Bill were often approached by employers for their
expertise in technical recruiting. Seeing a business opportunity, Bob
& Bill decided to create a firm that would provide high quality
contract recruiters at a reasonable cost to San Diego companies.
Having spent many years working in San Diego, Bob and Bill had come to
know numerous recruiting professionals and they are able to choose
their fellow team members judiciously. The business expanded rapidly,
in three aspects, scope of services offered, type of employers served
and geographic growth of the business within the US and into
international markets.
Today, Williams & Sewell HR Consulting has contracts with Fortune
100 technology companies, a major healthcare provider, a variety of
technology start-ups, government contractors, software developers and
technology companies in Ireland, England, Canada and Hong Kong that
have recently expanded operations into the US market. |
